Selectboard will meet with MBI (Massachusetts Broadband Institute) in the weeks to come to discuss moving forward with the Last Mile Networks Project.
Dan Rego resigned as the Alternate Delegate on the Broadband Committee.
The board voted to participate in the Hampden County Regional Shelter. When completed will be an addendum to the Western Massachusetts Intergovernmental Emergency Mutual Aid Agreement
Ed, Police Chief informed the board that he will request monies within his 2017 budget to purchase IMC (Information Management Corporation) software. IMC supplies more than 500 state and local police, fire and sheriff departments across the nation with software to preserve and manage vital public safety data and resources. Tolland will be joining through Berkshire Control with a startup cost of approximately $8,000 with an annual fee of $1,500.
The board appointed Jayden Cowles as an Election Worker. Tolland’s annual town election was scheduled for Tuesday, May 24th from 11AM to 7PM.
